Lee-Graham Pool Pumphouse

This project included removal of existing concrete and masonry building which had decayed over many years of exposure to elements and adjacent grading and rebuild of new more robust structure in the same general footprint. The new building acted as a retaining wall on three sides against a steep slope leading to the three pools at this facility. Coordination of supply and return piping feeding the pools along with the electrical service to the entire property were critical to deliver this project over the winter while it was closed. Close coordination with Fairfax County building inspectors, land disturbance inspections and third party structural inspections were required. The project was a success and the pool was open on schedule for the following spring swim season.
