This project was extremely challenging due to is unique nature, high level of rough-in coordination, working within three separate retail tenants below, and restoration of a fishing boat to be lifted via Crane onto elevated terrace at the Pike & Rose Development. The project consisted of the new the Boat Bar, and a new Interior Restaurant renovation.

Hibar worked with our clients Federal Realty Investment Trust & Sage Hospitality to perform necessary rough-in work, slab reinforcement and logistical planning at the project concurrent the the boat’s restoration in the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Hibar’s rigging contractor transported the boat overnight to Pike & Rose and it was lifted without incident from the street into the awaiting rough-in footprint and fit like a glove. While that was the most exciting portion of the project the remaining fitout of the boat bar, unique finishes including various wall mural paintings, build-out of new interior bar, custom banquettes, and back-of-house kitchen customizations makes this one of the projects we are most proud.
